The standard of the PE is of course excellent and will provide an extra dimension of detail to a kit which already has some pretty nice work done in plastic. These are some of the PE enhancements/replacements you will find -

Exterior Set includes:

  • Heavy fabric lining of landing gear bays

  • Landing gear brake lines

  • Gear door tensioners and hinge details

  • Rudder trim tab actuators

  • Bomb fin stays

  • Loop antenna

 Interior Set includes:

  • Instrument/radio panel faces, controls etc

  • Throttles

  • Rudder pedals

  • Gun sites (including Revi C/12D)

  • Magazine straps

  • Canopy mechanisms

Seatbelts Set:

  • Well…seatbelts (but all components are separate, nicely detailed and the belts are coloured and stitched)

  • Flexible Masks

The extensive glazing on the 110 is covered here in what would have to be a great saver of time and headaches.

Like many PE sets, some of the enhancements in this bunch are almost indispensable while others can be left on the frets. For example, the linings for the gear bays would seem to be a must to remedy those smooth plastic vertical walls in the kit and in this large scale any parts on the real aircraft made from sheet metal are crying out for a PE replacement.

Recommended for all those pursuing that next level for their Dragon 1/32 Bf110D.
