Here's a quick review of the second product from 3rd Wire Models received by the ARC Staff.  This set is a pair of 1/72 GE F110 Exhausts for the F-14B/D Tomcat, or for the F-16 Fighting Falcon.

WHAT YOU GET:

Simply put, you get a pair of one-piece GE F110 nozzles in the open position.  The staff at 3rd Wire has done a very nice job on these exhausts, and as with the Shawn Hull offerings in 1/48, these exhausts are a welcome addition for 1/72 builders.  Providing these exhausts in one piece is a real time-saver, and eliminates a lot of aggravation.  Simply paint and install - it's that simple!

My sample arrived intact, and both exhausts were well-formed.  No short casting, bubbles, or warps.  No instructions are provided with the set, as they're really not necessary.  You can also see from the close-up photo that the exhuasts are very well detailed inside and out, and the bevels between the exhaust petals are well represented.  This is one of the key aspects of the F110 exhausts, and a well-executed paint job will really make these nozzles stand out.
