Here's a review of a new 1/48 sheet from Twobobs.  

Two aircraft are represented in their new Super Hornet markings.  Enough marking options for two complete jets.

  • F/A-18E VX-31 CAG Jet from June 2005 
  • F/A-18F VX-31 CO Jet from June 2005

Recommended Kits:

  • Hasegawa F/A-18E/F
  • Italeri F/A-18E/F
  • Revell F/A-18E/F 
  • Decals are sized for the Revell E and Hasegawa F
    •

 

The decals are beautifully printed, and are clear and sharp. The white markings are nice and bright. Some of the markings are 2 piece decals, ensuring proper color and registration.

VX-31 operates out of NAS China Lake, California, and is an air test and evaluation squadron. They operate many types of aircraft, and you can read more about the unit HERE.
