| The third
aircraft is S/N 87-0239 and is the Commanders mount for the 466th FS.
This aircraft carries mission markings as well from Operation Northern
Watch but also carries a Winter Olympics logo. This logo was painted
on the jet when the 466th was tasked with providing Combat Air Patrol in
support of the Winter Olympics over Salt Lake City, Utah in 2002.
All three of these aircraft
are Litening II capable and carry this pod on most of their missions.
References for all of these
aircraft were provided by Duane Kaiser. Lots of trips out to the
flightline to get these pics got the references the Two Bobs needed on
these jets.
Once the sheet was in work
the Two Bobs were contacted by Jon Ungard who was the crew chief on the
West Coast Demo jet and he provided them with other reference material.
The Two bobs want to thank both of these guys for all their help.
The instruction sheets are
the usual easy to understand colour instruction sheets showing 4 views and
decal placement on each aircraft. The decals provide enough stencils
to build all 3 F-16's featured on this sheet. Some of the decals
come as 2 layers. This provides proper coverage of the decals and
also makes sure the more complicated multi-coloured decals are in
register. This is always much appreciated by modellers. The
printing quality is crisp and clear and of a very high quality that we've
all come to expect from the Twobobs. All in all....a nice sheet
featuring some unique F-16 markings. I highly recommend these decals
to anyone interested in building a Hill AFB F-16.
