This
is the Hasegawa Hurricane Mk1. I dropped the flaps (scratch built) and chopped
the rudder, tail plane and tail to simulate battle damage. The exposed structure
was scratch built with plastic rod. I used the Tamiya 1/48 Kubelwagon and added
some ICM Luftwaffe crew figures.

The
inspiration for this diorama came from the Battle of Britain film,
relating to the letter sent to Churchill by Air Chief Marshall Dowding AOC
Fighter Command regarding sending more fighter sqns to France.
The
letter and a picture of Dowding are set out alongside the Hurricane.
