"Part Two of a series of 3 or 4 on the De Havilland Twin Boomers... Part #2 The Vampire T11 in 1/48th scale.

As per the FB9 this  kit is the Aeroclub 1/48th scale vacuum-formed kit.  The kit has separate nosepods, and fins to enable the  single seater  FB5/9, The NF10 or the T11.  My original plan was to use the Hobbycraft kit and graft the spare nose on ,left over from my FB9, however, the Hobbycraft kit is  a bit of a disappointment in the accuracy department. Plan #2 was to buy another Aeroclub kit!! I did use the wing tanks from the Hobbycraft kit though!!

Decals are again from Xtradecal. Depicted is T11 WZ549/"F". Can't remember the unit she's from off hand, but she was used for training Air Traffic Controllers in the early 1960's.
